Hi Rory, I am indeed a new SABR member! I'm not sure to which picture of Jophery Brown you are referring. I am using the 1968 photo pack from the PC Ballparks site for the thumbnails on each player's profile page (though since Mr. Brown as not appeared in my replay yet, he does not have a player page)

Hi -- I'm working on a biography of Jophery Brown for the SABR BioProject (http://bioproj.sabr.org). I wouldn't be surprised if you're a SABR member too!

I saw the picture of Mr. Brown in Cubs uniform and would love to get it in fuller size to use at the top of the bio when it is posted. Can you help, please?

Thanks, Rory

Thanks, Rodney. The blog on the 1968 site is homemade and not part of Wordpress. I'm still working on the ability to post comments there, but I may not waste the time because posting comments here is just as good to me. However, I am working on incorporating my applications used in my DMB sites into Wordpress. But for now, I've had my fill of coding and am just ready to play some baseball. Hopefully, I can have the next replay set up within a blog or CMS (Wordpress, Joomla or Drupal), and then merge all the content from 1965-1968.

This site just awesome. How are you doing this? Have you written software to merge the DMB web archive with the blogging software?

A Raider team that knows how to win, I'd forgotten that they ever existed. Thanks for a great replay, and a great website.

Well, the 1967 Cowboys were only a few inches from making the Super Bowl. It's difficult for those of us who grew up with the 1970's edition of the Cowboys to realize the bridesmaid persona of the 1960's Cowboys.

One thing I learned from the 1966 and 1967 replays is Lombardi's Packers were not teams that impressed with their statistics, but rather true championship teams that created and took advantage of other team's mistakes. Intangibles. In 1967, Starr threw nearly twice as many interceptions as touchdowns. But no matter, he was a champion. As I mentioned in the game story though, on this (replayed) day, Green Bay was unable to capitalize on blocked punts and turnovers against the Cowboys. That had been their MO the last two replayed seasons.
